Today’s 9/11 Monday morning started out in complete darkness. Since the trail itself has no lights, it is recommended that you never hike alone and please don’t forget to bring your flashlight or headlight. However, by the time the group started walking the Levee, the sun was already starting to rise leaving the sky a nice pink hue. The lake even reflected the pink on the calm stillness of the waters. This trail makes for a quick out and back, just in time to start the normal morning routine. If you are available and looking for a walking buddy or a quick mood check-in; come out and join us Every Monday at 6AM down by the lake behind the Storm Stadium in Lake Elsinore, California
